My love of Italy & Italian Weddings
There’s something about Italy that slows everything down in the best possible way. The light moves differently, the air feels heavy with history and perfume, and everything seems to happen exactly when it should. International wedding ceremonies begin later…. around four or five, when the sun softens and the world starts to glow. Dinner stretches into the night, laughter carries through courtyards, and every moment feels like a scene you don’t want to end.
I’ve photographed weddings across Italy – from the cliffs of Ravello to the golden hills of Tuscany and the quiet glamour of Lake Como. Each destination has its own rhythm and personality, but the feeling is always the same. Romantic. Cinematic. Effortlessly elegant. I’m drawn to that blend of beauty and emotion, the sense that life is being fully lived.
Italy also teaches you to surrender to the moment. I’ve seen wedding mornings begin in storms and end in light so soft it feels painted. Whatever the day brings, it always finds its rhythm, and that’s when the photographs truly come alive.

My style & process for destination weddings
I always arrive a few days before the wedding to explore and absorb the atmosphere. This time lets me learn the light, the angles, and the flow of the place so that by the time the wedding day arrives, everything feels natural. Often, I’ll photograph a welcome dinner or pre-wedding celebration, a beautiful way for couples and guests to feel at ease in front of the camera and for the story to begin long before the ceremony.
My destination weddings are an extension of my editorial work but never too staged or structured. They carry the same elegance and cinematic quality, but always with softness and ease. I’m drawn to the details that make it personal, a look across the table, the sound of laughter under fairy lights, a dress caught in a breeze
