EDITORIAL PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY

Fashion forward portraits for women and couples who want imagery that feels elevated, emotional, and editorial.

Whether visiting London for a celebration, staying in one of the city’s luxury hotels, marking a new chapter, or simply wanting beautiful photographs of yourself, these sessions are designed to feel relaxed, cinematic, and personal.

My approach blends fashion and feeling, creating imagery that feels natural but polished, modern but timeless. Think less traditional photoshoot, more beautifully observed moments with direction where needed.

From solo portraits and couple sessions to personal branding and creative editorial work, every shoot is approached with the same attention to light, detail, emotion, and atmosphere.

Do I need to know how to pose?

Not at all. Guiding people is as much a part of my job as operating a camera. Most of my portraits clients are not models and often arrive saying exactly the same thing. I’m very patient and will guide you throughout, whether that’s demonstrating something myself, helping with movement, or simply creating an environment where you feel relaxed and comfortable. Often the most beautiful images come from movement and feeling rather than stiff posing.

Where do portrait sessions take place?

Completely your choice. I often photograph clients at their hotel if they are travelling to London, but we can also hire a photography studio, shoot around the city, use the grounds of a hotel, or even work from a beautiful Airbnb or private home. The location always helps shape the atmosphere of the portaits, so this is something we plan together.

What should I wear?

This is very bespoke to you and is something I’m always happy to help with as part of the experience. Some portrait clients arrive with a full wardrobe planned, while others prefer guidance. We can discuss styling, colours, mood, and overall feel beforehand so everything feels cohesive and natural to you.

Are your portrait sessions only for women?

Not at all. These sessions are for anyone wanting beautiful photographs of themselves, whether that’s individuals, couples, creatives, founders, or families.

Can we shoot at a hotel in London?

Absolutely. London hotels can make an incredible backdrop for portrait sessions. I would always advise speaking with the hotel beforehand, as every property has different policies. Some allow photography only within your room, while others are kind enough to offer access to certain spaces or grounds.

How much do portrait sessions cost?

Portrait sessions typically start from £975. Studio hire, travel, accommodation, or additional creative team costs may be extra depending on the shoot.

Do you travel internationally?

Absolutely. I regularly travel for photography work both within the UK and internationally. Travel expenses would be discussed depending on the location and schedule, as international shoots usually require additional travel days.

Can this be booked as a couple session?

Yes. I photograph couples, families, personal branding sessions, and creative portraits, all approached in the same relaxed and editorial way.

Is hair and makeup included?

Hair and makeup is not included as standard, but I have trusted artists I’m very happy to recommend depending on the style and feel you’re looking for.

Do you photograph clients visiting London from abroad?

Yes, it’s a big part of what I do.

Many of my portrait clients travel to London for a celebration, a couples trip, a solo experience, or simply because they want beautiful imagery captured during a meaningful moment in their lives.

Some arrive with an incredible wardrobe planned around the shoot, others simply want photographs that feel cinematic, emotional, and personal to them. The sessions are always tailored around the atmosphere and feeling you want the images to have.

For many clients, these photographs become more than just portraits. They become artwork for their home. Sometimes that might be a softly observed studio image focused on fabric, light, movement, or shadow. Other times it may be the scale and atmosphere of London itself, a quiet moment at Claridge’s, a silhouette on a bridge, or a fleeting frame where the feeling matters more than a traditional portrait.

The approach is always personal, collaborative, and centred around creating imagery that feels timeless, artful, and completely your own.
