I did my first wedding here in 2012 and as soon as I arrived I felt like I’d been dropped into a Fairytale. The House Meadow in Biddenden, literally takes your breath away when you arrive. As soon as I met Clare who owns and runs the venue, I felt like I had known her forever. Since then, we have become great friends and I have photographed so many more weddings as well as styled shoots there. I always say that Clare is my ‘creative soul mate’ and there is no one I enjoy working with more when it comes to coming up with new and exciting concepts for our shoots.
The venue has changed a bit over the years too, still keeping all of its English Country charm but adding new spaces, creating even more locations for the perfect photos. Every single wedding I’ve had the pleasure of capturing has always been stunning and totally unique.
I love the number of outdoor spaces that are perfect for celebrant led blessings, be it under the ancient oak tree, The Horseshoes Barn or the gazebo by the lake. Take a look! The options are stunning. It’s a free spirited venue and one at which your guests will feel welcome and at ease upon arrival. The relationships Clare builds with her couples is so special, ensuring you have a day bespoke to you, helping to recommend the very best suppliers and then being there for anything and everything on the day.
The keep it to 10 weddings each year here and with it being such a sought after venue, it’s one that you need to book extremely far in advance.
