What makes Leeds Castle so special?
Leeds Castle really does have the wow factor when it comes to weddings. Steeped in history with an association to six queens of England, it’s maybe most faomous for being used by Henry VIII as a home for his first wife. It was last owned by Lady Baillie from 1926 – 1974 and she left the building to the charity ‘The Leeds Castle Foundation’, It then opened to the public in 1976.
You can choose from different venues within Leeds Castle and in addition to the castle itself and your options include Maidens Tower & Battel Hall.
YOU CAN GET MARRIED IN A CASTLE!
That’s pretty amazing right? You can actually get married in Leeds Castle, making it a dream wedding venue. Your wedding breakfast is served in the largest room of the castle too, The Henry VIII Banqueting Hall. This room….in fact, the whole venue, is one that will make your guests jaws drop!
