Some weddings feel like London itself — iconic, elegant, and filled with energy from morning until the very last song. Charlotte and Charlie’s wedding was exactly that. A day planned to perfection by Snob Events and hosted at the legendary Savoy London, it was a celebration that captured everything we love about this city — tradition, glamour, and an unforgettable sense of joy.
I first met Charlotte and Charlie a few years ago when they were a bridesmaid and best man at another wedding I photographed. We clicked instantly, and when they reached out for their own day, I knew it would be something special. They’re one of those couples who make everyone around them feel at ease — warm, fun, and completely in love.
The Morning at The Savoy
Charlotte spent the morning in one of the beautiful suites at The Savoy, surrounded by her bridesmaids and a dream beauty team — Katie’s Faces, Grace Kelly MUA and By Beau Babbington. The atmosphere was calm yet full of excitement as hair and makeup finished up, dresses were steamed, and final details laid out ready for the day ahead.
Meanwhile, Charlie was getting ready just across the river at The Corinthia, in one of their top suites with a private terrace overlooking the London skyline. The morning had that perfect balance of calm and excitement — drinks flowing, music playing, and the city glittering in the distance. Grooming was in expert hands with Guray Kesman, who brought his signature style and precision to the suite, ensuring every detail was immaculate. It was relaxed, stylish, and effortlessly London — the ideal start to what would become an unforgettable day.
Ceremony at St Giles, London
Guests made their way to St Giles Church to the sound of live trumpets as the city buzzed outside. Inside, the space filled with warmth, music, and emotion. Charlotte arrived in white cabs arranged by her father — a lovely nod to London tradition — and walked down the aisle to a breathtaking live performance by Luke Burr and RuthAnne. Together, they performed The Vow — the first time it had ever been sung live. It was one of those moments that stopped time completely. The emotion in the room was extraordinary, and there wasn’t a dry eye in sight.
The ceremony continued with music from the GT Gospel Choir, filling the church with soul and celebration as Charlotte and Charlie exchanged vows. When they stepped out into the sunshine, surrounded by friends and family, the atmosphere was electric — a sea of confetti, smiles, and the start of something unforgettable.
The Savoy Reception
Guests were welcomed back to The Savoy by the London Fanfare Trumpets, setting the tone for a truly spectacular evening. Every detail had been planned to perfection by Snob Events, with support from Enchanted by Syma for florals and décor, Kudos AV for lighting and production, and the Savoy Weddings team who ensured the day ran seamlessly.
During the drinks reception in the River Room, guests were entertained by violinists, a magician, and even a Vogue-style photo booth courtesy of Event Rhino. There was live sketching by Sketched by Siena, a kids club by The Little Top, and cocktails from Hyjack Cocktails — every element designed to surprise and delight.
Before guests entered the ballroom, Charlotte and Charlie had a private room reveal — one of my favourite moments of the day. Seeing the space for the first time, complete with bespoke design, stunning florals, and the signature Savoy elegance, was emotional and unforgettable.
The Evening Celebration
As guests took their seats, the room came alive with live performances from The Function Band, who set the tone for an evening of incredible entertainment. The couple’s grand entrance featured a collaboration between the band and Luke Burr, performing Dreams by Gabrielle — a moment no one will ever forget.
Dinner was followed by heartfelt speeches, beautifully timed with screen content curated by Kudos AV, before the dancefloor officially opened. The LED drummers, mirror men, and live performances kept energy high from start to finish.
The evening continued with cake cutting by Hall of Cakes, more live music, and an afterparty that transformed The Savoy ballroom into a world of Ibiza-style beats led by Lovely Laura & Ben Santiago.
It truly was a night that never stopped giving — music, laughter, and constant moments of joy.
A London Wedding to Remember
From the heartfelt ceremony to the electric afterparty, Charlotte and Charlie’s wedding was a masterclass in celebration. Parvy from Snob Events brought together one of the most impressive teams I’ve seen, creating a day that was as visually breath-taking as it was emotionally charged.
It was everything you’d hope for from a London wedding — sophisticated, vibrant, and full of heart.
