Natasha & Jamie’s Wedding took place at the stunning and very grand Penshurst Place & Gardens. It’s a venue I hadn’t been to before and upon visiting I fell in love with it.
Natasha chose to get ready at Hotel Du Vin in Tunbridge Wells before hand which worked really well as it was only 15 minutes from Penshurst. After I had spent some time with them during the preparations I made my way over to the beautiful church where Jamie was busy greeting all of the guests. While waiting for Natasha to arrive I made the most of the beautiful surroundings and got some photos of the girls waiting. It was a really hot summers day (despite an awful storm being forecast!) and the girls all looked stunning…..i want one of those dresses!
The ceremony was very touching and they also had Gospel choir. They were just brilliant and it was really nice to see all of the guests joining in….rather than mumbling into the order of service as we all tend to do! After the ceremony we made our way across to Penshurst Place where champagne and canapes were served on the lawn. I had seen Baron’s hall and knew it was an amazing room but it was totally transformed by True Flower Design. The dark blue was an usual choice for the room but it really worked! As the whole place feels very regal, and this just added to it. Along with the draping flowers at the top table and extravagant table displays it really did have a wow factor.
For Natasha & Jamie’s photos we headed out to the vast grounds of Penshurst which are just superb. I really was spoilt for choice and could have spent the whole day wandering around with them as there are so many different gardens. It was, however, still harsh sunlight so that did have an effect on where we could shoot. Natasha’s dress really complimented the surroundings and I loved her whole look. It was very timeless and those shoes!! just gorgeous.
