Hannah & Dean’s wedding ceremony and reception took place in August at Chilston Park. Everything about their day oozed elegance and class, from Hannah’s beautiful vintage looking dress to the Great Gatsby theme for the wedding breakfast.
When I arrived at Chilston Park, Hannah was just having the finishing touches put to her makeup by the very talented Kelly Gough and she looked incredibly beautiful. When it was time to get her dress on, Kirsty from the shop where Hannah bought it, Wedding World Kent, was there ready to help her into it (how impressive is that!) I have never known someone to do this before and I really do think that it is such a great service to be offered. Getting the dress on can often be the most stressful part as its when the nerves kick in and you start to worry about how much time you have left! But Hannah didn’t have any of this and it helped to make the morning totally stress free and enjoyable for all the girls.
The ceremony took place in The Orangery and then everyone made their way out onto the lawn for drinks and ice creams. It was lovely to see such a big wedding party (Hannah had 12 bridesmaids!) and they all looked gorgeous. After some group shots I took the new Mr & Mrs Blackmore round to the front of the hotel for some photos, considering the fact that Hannah had some concerns about having her photo taken, I thought she was amazing to photograph……well they both were! (loved Dean’s beard)
The speeches were hilarious and emotional (always one of my favourite parts to capture) and they were followed by the most fantastic party. They had a band called Festival Sons and I’m now looking for a reason to book them! They had a Mumford & Sons vibe and had everyone up dancing straight away.
Hannah kindly wrote me a lovely review which you can read here and their wedding was recently featured on English Wedding Blog. You will find lots more information there about this wonderful day, along with links to all of the suppliers involved.
