Classy & Glamourous English Country Wedding

Brogan & Billy’s wedding at The Gardens, Yaldingwas the perfect combination of glamour and fun. Oozing class and style, I just knew that their wedding was going to be something special when I met them. Brogan is an influencer as well as being a talented photographer herself, so I was really honoured that they chose me…..as well as a little intimidated if I’m honest. Any photographer will know, that working for someone in the same line of work as you, adds that bit of extra pressure.
I need not have worried though, they and their families could not have been more lovely and welcoming, immediately including me in the day when I arrived….it were as if I were part of the family. Scroll through this blog and you will see just how gorgeous Brogan & Billy look…..with Billy’s suit from Savile Row where he works and Brogan’s Riki Dalal dress from one of my favourite bridal shops Dress Dreams Bridal in Sevenoaks, they really look like a model couple. There is, however, a story that you would never believe behind this day and it’s one that you would never guess. Just days before, Brogan was covered, head to toe in the most awful and painful rash which also made her feel incredibly poorly. I spoke to her for my Podcast Just Bloody Wear It, where she explains more, but she really was one of the bravest, resilient and gorgeous brides I’ve ever seen…..she was basically the polar opposite of a bridezilla (is there a term for that?) if there is, then that’s Brogan!
Aside from this, it was the most fantastic day.The Gardens Yalding is a stunning venue in Kent which has a really relaxed vibe about it. The outdoor ceremony location is so very typically ‘English Country Garden’ and I love how the gardens change throughout the seasons.
