Family Portrait Sessions

With nearly all of my weddings in 2020 cancelled due to Covid 19 I got the opportunity to do more family portrait sessions than usual and I adored every single one. I had forgotten how much I loved capturing families and also how gorgeous our Kent countryside is! I love the different fields that appear throughout the summer months and really enjoyed visiting the Poppy, Wheat and Cornfields…as well as some of my regular favourites, such as The Brickfields in Lower Halstow.
One of my first shoots was for my friends girls, Leah & Sienna. I’ve photographed these two a lot over the years and they have kind of become little muses for me. We were a little late to the Poppy Field and had it been a couple of days later, I think that they would have all been dead, however, I quite like the ‘rustic’ look and the little pop of red that they give to the photos.
