Emily & Paul’s wedding day started out very wet and windy! And while this can be some peoples worst nightmare, they didn’t let it spoil a thing. Emily got ready at the very lovely No 64 The Joiners, in West Malling and then they had their ceremony at the very beautiful and grand Mereworth church. I enjoyed capturing the reactions of the guests arriving, battling the elements with their umbrellas! For the reception it was onto Bradbourne House. I have photographed lots of weddings at Bradbourne now and I love the fact that it looks so different each time. Emily & Paul decided to have long tables set up in a banquet style which looked fantastic and was in keeping with how the room would have been set up in years gone by. Their colours were pretty pastels which were coupled with navy polka dot ribbon. It added a touch of class and and subtly tied in with Paul’s suit. Nicola at Florian florist made the most amazing displays and bouquets for the girls, with the berries in them, once again picking up on that navy polka dot and adding a little bit of winter to a pastel colour scheme.
I always say that Bradbourne is THE best venue if you have a rainy day as the inside is so beautiful with so many options for photos. We did the majority of the photos inside, but then we noticed during the wedding breakfast that the rain had stopped so we went outside between courses to get some photos too. Emily was even willing to venture onto the grass which made for some gorgeous shots.
I absolutely loved this wedding. Such elegance and class! Emily is a real natural beauty and I loved the way that Abi Rose just enhanced her stunning features.
