Celina and Matt were incredibly lucky to get a lovely sunny day in March for their beautiful wedding. The preparations took place at Chilston Park Hotel and I got to see Celina open her wedding gift from Matt. He had bought her a Mulberry bag and her reaction was such a lovely thing to capture, it was just like the Mulberry advert that was on at Christmas time and really made me laugh. Then when I arrived at Boughton Malherbe church for the ceremony I got to see Matt open his gift too! Its so nice when I am there for these moments because then each of them gets to see how they reacted. Priceless moments! 🙂
Celina’s friend sang beautifully as she came down the aisle and Matt’s face when he saw Celina for the first time made my heart melt, the look of love in his eyes was so clear to see. After the ceremony, it was back to Chilston Park for a champagne reception. After they had mingled with their guests a little, we made a start on the photos. March at Chilston is so pretty when the sun is out and as it began to set behind the hotel it created the most beautiful light for their photos. It did get quite chilly but Celina was brave enough to part with her fur stole for a little while so that we could get some photos to show off that amazing Ronald Joyce ‘paulo’ dress.
The speeches were hilarious as you will gather from the photos and it was great to see Danny Mills there again playing the piano too. He is fantastic and always creates such a great atmosphere at dinner, I cannot recommend him highly enough!
Celina & Matt’s wedding was just brilliant and I loved the fact that they just didn’t stop smiling all day. They have a little boy, Dylan and he looked super cool in his little suit. He was a real little character and I made it my mission to get some nice family photos for them. My favourite set are during the group photos (I had a big group of performers behind me!) and it worked a treat.
Ignite films were part of this wedding too and I always love to work with them. We work so well as a team and I can’t wait to see what they create for the lovely couple….so watch this space and I will keep you posted!
