Stately but still inviting
Goodwood House is the kind of venue that makes an entrance—literally. As you approach through the vast parkland, this grand estate rises before you, full of history, elegance, and the kind of charm that only 300 years of aristocratic hosting can provide. It’s luxurious without feeling stuffy, stately but still inviting, and absolutely breathtaking in every season.
Why I Love Photographing Weddings at Goodwood House
The beautifully curated interiors, the grand staircase, the soft natural light that pours through the enormous windows—it’s a place where every room tells a story. The Yellow Drawing Room is particularly special, with its delicate colours and ornate features, making it the perfect setting for an elegant ceremony.
Step outside, and you’re greeted by rolling countryside and perfectly manicured gardens. Whether it’s a romantic moment on the terrace or a classic shot in front of the house itself, Goodwood delivers those effortlessly timeless images that never date.
One of my favourite weddings here was Aimee & Joshua’s, a day filled with soft whites, stunning floral designs, and a setting that felt straight out of a classic novel. You can read more about their wedding on Louise Avery Flowers’ blog.
Every time I photograph here, I find something new to love. If Goodwood House is on your list, let’s chat—I’d love to capture the beauty of your day in this incredible setting.
